About

CalcTask is a project by Hernán, a computer engineering student in Spain. It started with a few networking and electronics calculators I needed for my own exams and grew into a collection of free tools for students and for everyday life: grades, math, physics, chemistry, personal finance, fitness, home projects and computer science.

The idea behind every tool is the same. Finding a calculator that gives you an answer is easy; finding one that shows you how to get there is not. Each tool here solves the problem and also shows the working, step by step, using the method you would use in class or on paper.

Who it is for

Students in high school, college and university, teachers who want a quick way to check exercises, and anyone who needs a clear, honest calculation without signing up for anything. The site is available in English and Spanish.

How the calculations are checked

Every tool is tested against textbook exercises and automated test suites. The Karnaugh map solver, for example, is verified against thousands of random functions, and the systems-of-equations solver works with exact fractions to avoid rounding errors. If you still find a mistake, let me know and I will fix it.

Privacy

All calculations run in your browser. Nothing you type into the tools is sent to a server. The site is funded by advertising; see the cookie policy for details.
